Summer Learning Academies

BASIC’s Learning Academies are intensive summer programs that help Borrego Springs students strengthen academic skills, build confidence, and return to school better prepared to succeed. Serving students across early elementary, upper elementary, and middle grades, these academies provide meaningful support in safe, welcoming learning environments and are offered at no cost to families thanks to the generosity of our donors and community partners.

Our programs are designed to remove barriers and help students thrive through small classes, credentialed teachers, BASIC scholar aides, strategically focused curriculum, enrichment opportunities, and nutritious daily meals.
